Wine Tasting for a Cause

On February 24th,The John Marshall Law School Student Bar Association held a wine tasting fundraiser to benefit Neumann Family Services.  Each year, they choose a charity and hold a fundraiser.  Over 75 people attended.  Thank you John Marshall Law School Student Bar Association!

Our 5th Annual Holiday Gift Drive was a smashing success! 

For many of the individuals we support, we are the only family they know.  Each resident at our homes fills out a form telling you a little about him/her.  These forms are then distributed to generous donors, friends, staff and community members so that each of our residents has gifts to open for the holidays.

Over 110 generous donors participated in the Holiday Gift Drive this year and provided several hundred gifts for the residents of Neumann Family Services! If you have questions or for more information, please contact Natalie Vega-Finn at

We would like to thank the Women's Bar Association of Illinois (WBAI).  They volunteered to come wrap all the gifts for the Holiday Gift Drive.  They proved to be elves eager to wrap the gifts beautifully. 

Thanksgiving at The Berghoff

Carlyn Berghoff and her family opened up their hearts and their restaurant to the residents at Neumann Family Services for Thanksgiving.  Over 80 volunteers came to help serve the residents.  Many of the residents had never before had a family-style Thanksgiving.  On the menu - turkey, stuffing, green beans, Berghoff creamed spinach and root beer.  MK Restaurant pastry chef provided desserts for this wondeful event.

Our Annual Fall Ball was held on Friday, November 12, 2010!

The Fall Ball is our annual dinner and dance for the clients that we serve at Neumann Family Services.  It is an event to celebrate their lives.  We hold the event at a local banquet hall and features a sit-down dinner.  The event has music and dancing.  The clients dance the night away and feel like kings and queens.
