The Neumann Neighbors Property Maintenance program provides many opportunities for its members, including a non-paid curriculum based training program, paid work experience with on-the job training, and staff support for community employment in maintenance jobs. Neumann Neighbors work one-on-one with staff and in small groups to increase their job skills while working in the community. This program provides training in outdoor lawn care, street cleaning, maintenance tasks, light carpentry work, and light moving duties. Additionally, the Neumann Family Services' eBay store, Neu-To U is an exceptional career training opportunity. With direction and guidance in photography, computer and communication skills, trainees learn the breadth and width of running a small business, while developing specific skills in key employment training areas.
