Neumann Family Services is pleased to announce the start of the Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) training! This is a great step for Neumann and a goal the professional development department has been working on for several months.

Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) Training:
THIS COURSE IS CLOSED FOR REGISTRAION
Time: 9a-1pm Cost: $750 per person
Our fourth group of trainees is scheduled to begin in April of 2013 and will consist of nine Thursday classes. Enrollment is now open to employees from outside agencies. Outside agencies will be responsible for submitting the necessary documentation (Checklist A, resume and unofficial transcript) to The Department of Human Services and will be eligible to submit reimbursement upon completion of the training.

Our Professional Development Department offers comprehensive training to individuals looking to increase insight and understanding in working with adults with developmental disabilities and mental illness. The mission of our training is to encourage professional development by providing opportunity for self awareness, skill building, increased knowledge and confidence in order to provide the best possible services and empower individuals served.
Currently, Neumann Family Services offers the Illinois Department of Human Services Direct Support Professional and the Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional Training Modules, External Control, American Red Cross CPR & First Aid, Positive Behavioral Supports, One-to-one Interaction, as well as Community Education.
